Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim are Paypal Employers.
They employers are created  YouTube - video-sharing website on which users can upload, share, and view content.
The Internet domain name WWW.YOUTUBE.COM was activated on Monday, February 14, 2005 at 9:13PM.
Hurley studied design at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Chen and Karim studied computer science together at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

YouTube's early headquarters were situated above a pizzeria and Japanese restaurant in San Mateo, California.

The domain name "YouTube.com" was activated on February 14, 2005, and the website was developed over the subsequent months. 
The site opened its doors to uploads on April 23, 2005. 
The first YouTube video uploaded on April 23, 2005 was titled Me at the zoo, and shows co-founder Jawed Karim at the San Diego Zoo.
The video was uploaded on April 23, 2005, and can still be viewed on the site.
During the summer of 2006, YouTube was one of the fastest growing sites on the Web, uploading more than 65,000 new videos and delivering 100 million video views per day in July.
YouTube entered into a marketing and advertising partnership with NBC in June 2006.
On October 9, 2006, it was announced that the company would be purchased by Google for US$1.65 billion in stock.
The purchase agreement between Google and YouTube came after YouTube presented three agreements with media companies in an attempt to escape the threat of copyright-infringement lawsuits.

In the first time every computer having a special folders these folders are called system folders .

A) My Computer
B) My Documents

A) My Computer:-


It shows the system facilities like System Memory capacity or RAM capacity and OS properties and other CD or Floppy facilities .


B) My Documents:-
It is used to store the information like file data only. 
It means this icons contains only saved file information, there is a possibility to open the file data also.

C) My Network Places:-
It allows us to create link between one computer to an other computer by using this icon. 
It means we can share the data from one computer to an other computer .

It is mainly used for networking.


D) Recycle bin:-
It is used to store the all deleted information. 
It means it contains all deleted files. 
There is a possibility to restore or delete the files.



E) Internet Explorer:-
It is used to perform all types internet programs like chatting, browsing web sites,  e- mails,etc.

WINDOWS

Windows is a graphical user interface (GUI). 
It is a Multi Task Operating System.

Ms-Dos (Microsoft Disk Operating System) is a Single Task Operating System.
It is a Console User Interface (CUI).
Now a days every one is using this type of OS(Windows) ,because we can perform more than one task at a time.

The figure below shows the fallowing parts:

i)  Desktop
ii) Icons
iii)Task bar
iv) Mouse Pointer
v)  Start Button
vi) Time Indicator

1) Desktop:-
The desktop is the main screen area that you see after you turn on your computer and log on to Windows. 
The Total area displayed on the screen is called desktop.
It having Icons at left side and task bar at bottom there is a possibility to change the desktop properties like desktop background, appearance, screen saver etc.



2) Icons:-


By default is positioned at the left side of the desktop.
Icons are small pictures that represent files, folders, programs, and other items.
It is a small graphical picture every icon having a program.
If you want to open the icon give double click on left button. 
There is a possibility to change the icon place and Name also.


3)  Task bar:-
By default it is positioned at the bottom side of the desk top. 
It shows the present displayed file status.
It shows you which programs are running and allows you to switch between them.
There is a possibility to change the Task bar size and Place also.


4) Mouse Pointer:-

It allows us to open the specified icon or a application
Every icon or every program opens through the mouse pointer also.

5) Start Button:-
It is used for to operate the programs of a any applications.
Every Application and Program Opens through the Start button. 
By default it it is positioned at the left side of the task bar.

6) Time Indicator:-

It shows the system time and date. 
It placed on the task bar right side.
There is a possibility to change the system date and Time.

Types of Programming Languages


It is media to provide communication between the objects for solving particular problem.

Every package develop with the help of language.

This language is also classified into Three categories




1) Low Level Language:-

In this language we can use Binary codes. 

That is 0's & 1's.
So it is called Binary Language.
Machine knows only this language so it is called machine level language.


Characteristics:-

i)  Direct memory management
ii) Little-to-no abstraction from the hardware
iii)Register access
iv)Statements usually have an obvious correspondence with clock cycles
v) Superb performance





2) Middle Level Language:-


It is combination of both low level and high level languages.

In this language we can use some mnemonic codes such as add,sub,mul,div.....etc
It is also called as a Assembly language.


Characteristics:-
i)  High level abstractions such as objects
ii) Static typing
iii)Extremely commonplace
iv) Virtual machines
v)  Garbage collection
vi) Easy to reason about program flow




3) High Level Language:-

In this language we can use some mathematical notations such as +,-,/,*,etc. 

It is also called as a User friendly language.

Characteristics:-
i)  Interpreted
ii) Dynamic constructs
iii)Poor performance
iv) Concise code
v)  Flexible syntax
vi) Hybrid paradigm
vii)Fanatic community


It is also classified into Three types.
Those are

a) Structured Programming Language:- 

A Structure is a nothing but a rule. 

In this language we can follow so many rules to implement the new software or new package.



Examples:-


b) Object Oriented Language:- 


An object is nothing but a peace of a program. Every program executes with the help of object.

It is extension of Structured programming language.

c) Data Base Programming Language:-
It is used for to store the information into the computer permanently.
It is also called Data Base Application.

Types of Application Software


This Software is used to perform some work by depending on the user requirements.

The purpose application software is completely designed for customer oriented operations.

like to prepare accounts, office works, business works and other official works,etc.

Packages:-
Collection of items or group of options are known as a Package.
(or)
Pre defined programs are called package.

There are two types of Packages .
Those are


a) Local Packages:-
This package is used in fixed in one area.
(or)
It is only designed for single specific applications.

It is also called as Personal Package (or) Specific Package.

Examples:-

Hotel management, Industrial companies,Railways,Shopping malls..etc.



b) Standard Packages:-

We can use this package any where in the world.
It is also called as a Universal package.
it means it can perform all types of standard applications.
