Purchase Order Entries in Tally (Notes)

A purchase order sets forth the descriptions, quantities, prices, discounts, payment terms, date of performance or shipment, other associated terms and conditions, and identifies a specific seller. Also called order.

Purchase order (Alt+F4):- 

Setting:-
Go to accounting vouchers
Press F11 key
Press F2 key
Allow purchases order processing = yes

Ledger:-
Purchases order ---- Purchases accounts

PROBLEM 1:-

1. Miss jyothi started a new business with 3,00,000/-

2. Purchase order given to Rupa Traders with Order No:325 - It contain fallowing stock items
     a. CRT Monitors 10 no’s Each one 3000/-
     b. LCD Monitors 15 no’s Each one 4500/- discount 4.5%
     c. LED Monitors 25 no’s Each one 6000/-

3. Goods Received from Rupa Traders with Order No: 325

4. Purchase order given to Vijaya Traders with Order No:907 -It contain fallowing stock items
    a. Keyboards 10 no’s Each one 300/- bill counted 9 no’s
    b. Mouses 20 no’s Each one 150/- discount 2%

5. Goods Received from Vijaya Traders with Order No: 907

6. Cash Paid to Rupa Traders
7. Cash Paid to Viajaya Traders

8. Sales as follows:-
      a. CRT Monitors 10 no’s Each one 4200/- discount 1.5%
      b. LCD Monitors 15 no’s Each one 5600/- bill counted 14 no’s
      c. LED Monitors 25 no’s Each one 8500/-
      d. Keyboards 10 no’s Each one 550/- bill counted 8 no’s
      e. Mouses 20 no’s Each one 220/- discount 3%

PROBLEM 2:-

1. Mr.Deva started a new business with 2,00,000/-

2. Purchases order to kumar trader with order no: 123 the fallowing items
     a) B.p.l color tv’s 10 sets each one 3,000/-
     b) L.g color tv’s 10 sets each one 5,000/-
     c) Onida color tv’s 10 sets each one 5,500/-

3. Purchases order to sampanth trader with order no: 120 the fallowing items
    a) Lap top’s 50 sets each one 20,000/-
    b) Sony mobiles 50 sets each one 5,000/-

4. Items received to kumar trader order no 123
5  Items received to sampanth trader order no 120.

6. Cash paid to kumar trader.
7. Cash paid to sampanth trader.

8. Sales as fallows:-
    a) B.p.l color tv’s 10 sets each one 6000/-
    b) L.g color tv’s 16 sets each one 7500/-
    c) Onida color tv’s 10 sets each one 11,000/-
