Sales Order entries in Tally (Notes)

The sales order, sometimes abbreviated as SO, is an order issued by a business or sole trader to a customer. A sales order may be for products and/or services. Given the wide variety of businesses, this means that the orders can be fulfilled in several ways.

Sales order (Alt+F5):- 

Setting:-
Go to accounting vouchers
Press F11 key
Press F2 key
Allow Sales order processing = yes 

Ledger:- 
Sales order ---- Sales accounts

PROBLEM 1:-

1. Mr.Ganesh started a new small business with 50,000/-
2. Purchase order given to Anand Traders with Order No:301 - It contain fallowing stock items
       a. Liril soaps 10 Peaces Each one 150/- discount 2.5%
       b. Lux soaps 20 Peaces Each one 200/- bill counted 18 Peaces
       c. Dove soaps 15 Peaces Each one 170/- discount 2.5%
       d. Santhoor soaps 10 Peaces Each one 130/- bill counted 9 Peaces
       e. Pears soaps 25 Peaces Each one 220/- discount 3.2%
3. Received goods from Anand Traders Order No: 301.
4. Sales order received to Sindhu Traders with Order No:205 - It contain fallowing stock items
       a. Liril soaps 8 Peaces Each one 200/- bill counted 7 Peaces
       b. Lux soaps 18 Peaces Each one 230/- discount 1.7%
       c. Dove soaps 10 Peaces Each one 210/- bill counted 9 Peaces
       d. Santhoor soaps 6 Peaces Each one 160/-
       e. Pears soaps 20 Peaces Each one 250/- discount 3.1%
5. Goods given to Sindhu Traders Order No:205
6. Cash Paid to Anand Traders
7. Cash From Sindhu Traders.

PROBLEM 2:-

1. Miss.swathi started a new business 1, 00,000/- 

2. Purchase order given to A1 trader with Order no 108. it contains the fallowing items.
    a) Lcd monitors 10 sets each one 2,000/-
    b) Dvd players 10 sets each one 1500/-
3. Purchase order given to Big-c with Order no 102. it contain the fallowing items
    a) Micro max mobiles 10 sets each one 600/-
    b) Corbon mobiles 10 sets each one 1200/-
4. Goods received from A1 trader with order no 108.
5. Goods received from Big – c with order no 102.
6. Cash paid to A1 traders.
7. Cash paid to Big-c traders.
8. Sales as fallows:
     a) Lcd monitors 10 sets each one 4000/-
     b) Dvd players 10 sets each one 3900/-
9.sales order received from prasad traders with order no 104 it contain the fallowing
     a) Carbon mobiles 10 sets each one 6000/-
     b) Micro max 10 sets 2000/-
10. Stock delivered to Prasad traders with order no:104 

11. Cash from prasad traders.
